Suggestions

  1. It would be good if the employment, education fields could be more like LinkedIn (Rachel Foong)
  2. An autocomplete for existing parliamenary constituency would be much easier and accurate (Khairil)
  3. Pinterest like tagging and UI (syawal).
  4. Abuse flag field for users/visitors.
  5. Fields that could be added (Rachel)
    1. Political Position Since
    2. Party Position & Since When
    3. Office Address
    4. Other Honorific Titles (Panglima Seri Mahkota, etc.)
    5. Awards
    6. Legal Cases Filed
Added back permanently. Suggested by: Boo Su-Lyn (?) - (Khairil)
  6. Instead of social links as text, use icons (Rachel)
This will be done in a real view template. Currently it's just dumping raw data as we may be changing fields often. Since it looks ok, and people may have hard time just to get the existing fields, we should aim to have a better basic view template next week. (Khairil)
Will work on the wireframe soon ;) (Rachel)
  7. MPs according to Google Map similar to http://www.eparlimen.com/ (Rachel)
8. Rating and Sharing options (Likes/Tweets/G+) - (Rachel)
Implemented, though we don't have any portlets / pages that make use of them like "Most Popular" or "Most Disliked" listings yet.
  9. Auto- Google Search of Images/Videos/News Articles (Rachel)
This is coming via another sub-project of Sinar. But we can do some RSS integration I guess. (Khairil)
  10. Browse and search by state, tags by state (Khairil), Tags by party and ministry (Rachel)
  11. Listing view to show all constituency codes against existing MP profiles to see completion status (Khairil)
Done. Incomplete Profiles. Tags currently incomplete, incomplete education and incomplete work experience
  12. Hide fields which are empty (Rachel)
  13. Compare politician with politician similar to Open Congress (Rachel)

Rachel, how does Political Position and Party Position since, differ from existing Political History? Maybe this would be similar to (1) where we have mulitiple fields and dates like LinkedIn?

Khairil,

Political Position would be more of a Governmental Position. Whereas Party Position would be strictly for party. Some politicians hold two at a single period of time. I think we need to make it more specific. And yes, LinkedIn style would be great.

Can we enable <strike> for this list? Would be good to see which has been done and which hasn't.
